Please complete the conference registration form and book your travel tickets as soon as possible. SeNSS will reimburse your travel costs, in line with its travel policy.
The theme of the 2018 conference is Social Sciences’ Issues in Europe and Beyond. The full draft Summer Conference programme is available here.
Some of the conference events on offer are:
- A keynote address by Professor Anand Menon, Director of UK In a Changing Europe
- Keynote academic talks, including a panel discussion on European political challenges
- Pathway-specific training sessions
- SeNSS Student Forum elections
- Pecha Kutcha Competition
- Poster competition
- Talks on How to keep on top of your PhD, and What to do after your PhD
This event will bring together doctoral students and academics across the range of social sciences for talks, training and competitions. This event is primarily intended to showcase the excellence of our students (via our competitions), to hear talks on issues relevant across the disciplines, and to provide an opportunity for disciplinary and interdisciplinary networking.
There will also be plenty of time to socialise, and get to know each other, including a wine reception and buffet dinner on the first night, and a BBQ followed by punting on the River Stour on the second night, .
