Do you need to conduct UK or overseas fieldwork or learn a language to successfully complete your PhD? Do you want to attend a conference, do a placement with a business, or run a student-led training event? All these opportunities and more are available to you through SeNSS!

This page will help you identify which SeNSS fund you need to apply to in order to undertake a particular activity, and provides links to the relevant policy so that you can find out how to apply for the funding to make it happen.

Please read these policy documents thoroughly before incurring any costs or making any training, fieldwork or language training plans. If you do not follow the procedures set out in these policies, you will not be allowed to claim back any expenses you have incurred in relation to these activities. Please also discuss your plans with your supervisor, as it is essential that you have your supervisor's support for your applications.
