Think you can’t afford postgraduate studies?
SeNSS – the South East Network for Social Sciences – can offer you funding of up to £20,000 per year to cover the costs of your postgraduate study. We are running three open events to answer any questions you might have about postgraduate study in the social sciences.
What is a PhD and where does it lead? Why continue in education after your undergraduate degree? How can I apply for funding? Ask SeNSS!
Who are the events aimed at?
Whether you know a little or nothing about postgraduate studies, this is your opportunity to find out whether it is an option for you and supports your career ambitions.

‘Ask SeNSS’ Application Workshop
Friday 8 November 2019 from 12 noon until 2pm (GMT)
City, University of London
About the Event
At the two-hour workshop, you will learn what SeNSS is, what funding you can get through a SeNSS studentship (or scholarship), and how to apply. You will hear from one of our former ESRC-funded students, Aviah Day, on what doing a PhD has meant to her. You will also learn how to find a supervisor, and how to write a strong studentship application.
There will also be plenty of opportunities to ask any questions you might have.
