The SeNSS Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) was awarded funding in 2017 by the ESRC for seven cohorts of students, the last of which started in October 2023. In bidding for funding for a second ESRC DTP, it was decided that SeNSS would split into two different DTPs, both of which will offer fully-funded studentships for those seeking funding for their postgraduate studies starting in October 2024:

  • The South and East Network for Social Sciences (SENSS) DTP consists of City, University of London, Cranfield University, Goldsmiths, University of London, Middlesex University, Roehampton University, the University of East Anglia, the University of Essex (the co-ordinating institution), and the University of Lincoln.
