Highlights included:

  • Using AI to end modern slavery’ a keynote address by Professor Todd Landman, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Nottingham

  • Pathway-specific sessions

  • SeNSS Student Forum elections

  • Three minute thesis and research poster competitions

  • A range of parallel student interactive information sessions

This event brought together doctoral students, post-doctoral fellows and academics across a range of social sciences for talks, training and competitions. This annual event is primarily intended to showcase the excellence of our students (via our competitions), to hear talks on issues relevant across the disciplines, and to provide an opportunity for disciplinary and interdisciplinary networking.
